1. Communication with Shareholders and Investor Relation

We recognise the importance of good communication with the shareholders. Information in relation to us is disseminated to the shareholders in a timely manner through a number of formal channels, which include our interim and annual reports, announcements and circulars.

Our general meetings are valuable from for our board members to communicate directly with the shareholders. The shareholders are encouraged to attend our general meetings.

We are also committed to enhancing communications and relationships with its investors. Designated senior management maintains an open dialogue with institutional investors and analysts to keep them abreast of our developments.

3. CORPORATE COMMUNICATION REQUESTS

 Corporate Communication refers to any document issued or to be issued by Pak Fah Yeow International Limited (“PAK FAH YEOW” or the “Company”) for the information or action of holders of any of its securities, including, but not limited to, the directors’ report and annual accounts together with a copy of the auditor’s report, the interim report, a notice of meeting, a listing document, a circular and a proxy form.

The English and Chinese versions of all PAK FAH YEOW Corporate Communications are available on the PAK FAH YEOW website (www.pakfahyeow.com) and the HKEXnews website.

 Pursuant to the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and PAK FAH YEOW’s Bye-Laws, PAK FAH YEOW provides Corporate Communications to shareholders by electronic means through its website (www.pakfahyeow.com) and the HKEXnews website  (“Electronic Version”) with notification of the publication of the Corporate Communications to the shareholders concerned by post or by email, provided that the relevant shareholders have consented to receiving the Electronic Version.

 PAK FAH YEOW will seek consent from each new registered shareholder of receiving the Electronic Version of all future Corporate Communications.

 PAK FAH YEOW will despatch the Printed Form of Corporate Communications (in the registered shareholders’ choice of language) to their addresses pursuant to their request (See “Election of Language and Means of Receipt of Corporate Communications” below for details), or if consent has not been sought from them to receiving the Electronic Version of Corporate Communications.

 A registered shareholder who has elected (or is deemed to have elected) the Electronic Version but for any reason has difficulty in accessing the relevant Corporate Communication(s) electronically, or wishes to receive printed copies, PAK FAH YEOW will promptly upon his/her request send the Printed Form to him/her free of charge.

 A notification of publication of Corporate Communications on the PAK FAH YEOW website (www.pakfahyeow.com) and the HKEXnews website will also be sent by post or by email to non-registered shareholders whose shares in PAK FAH YEOW (whether or not held through a broker or custodian) are kept in the Central Clearing and Settlement System (CCASS). Non-registered shareholders may request to receive the Printed Form of Corporate Communications (See “Election of Language and Means of Receipt of Corporate Communications” below for details). 

 Non-registered shareholders who wish to receive the notification of publication of Corporate Communications should liaise with their bank(s), broker(s), custodian(s), nominee(s) or HKSCC Nominees Limited through which their shares are held for necessary arrangements.

 Registered shareholders and non-registered shareholders may at any time change their choice of language or means of receipt of all future Corporate Communications by giving written notice to PAK FAH YEOW’s Hong Kong Branch Share Registrar (See “Election of Language and Means of Receipt of Corporate Communications” below for details).

 Shareholders who have any queries in relation to election of language and means of receipt of Corporate Communications may call the enquiry hotline of PAK FAH YEOW’s Hong Kong Branch Share Registrar on (852) 2980 1333 during business hours (9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Hong Kong public holidays).

 

Election of Language and Means of Receipt of Corporate Communications

Upon publication of Corporate Communication(s) by PAK FAH YEOW on its website (www.pakfahyeow.com) and the HKEXnews website, a registered shareholder/non-registered shareholder, who wishes to receive the relevant Corporate Communication(s) in printed form or in a language version other than his/her existing choice, may complete and submit the relevant Instruction Slip / Request Form to PAK FAH YEOW’s Hong Kong Branch Share Registrar by post to 17/F., Far East Finance Centre, 16 Harcourt Road, Hong Kong, or by email to pakfahyeow-239@hk.tricorglobal.com. 

 A registered shareholder/non-registered shareholder may from time to time change his/her choice of language or means of receiving all future Corporate Communications with not less than seven days’ notice in writing to PAK FAH YEOW’s Hong Kong Branch Share Registrar by completing and submitting the relevant Instruction Slip by post to 17/F., Far East Finance Centre, 16 Harcourt Road, Hong Kong, or by email to pakfahyeow-239@hk.tricorglobal.com. The change request will apply to the next batch of Corporate Communication(s) and all future Corporate Communications of PAK FAH YEOW until such time when the shareholder ceases to hold shares in PAK FAH YEOW or he/she notifies PAK FAH YEOW’s Hong Kong Branch Share Registrar of any change by completing and submitting the relevant Request Form.
